Aftercare

The microblading healing process may be filled with ups and downs..but please don't let it scare you! I am going to explain what to expect during the healing process. So please trust the process! :)

  • Immediately after your appointment, your eyebrows will appear to be darker. Swelling and redness is minimal with most of clients, and it will disappear within 1-2days. The tattooed area may feel sore and tender, it will disappear within 1-2days.

  • KEEP THE TATTOOED AREA CLEAN, wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattoo.

  • Wash the tattooed area 2 times a day to prevent bacterial built-up (use gentle soap such as baby soap if needed) and apply THIN layer of the aftercare cream if needed.

  • Do not keep the  tattooed are wet, pat dry immediately after washing. Avoid long shower, hot tub, swimming etc.

  • Avoid sweaty activities.

  • Avoid any kind of moisturizer, Vaseline and make-up on tattooed areas.

  • Do not pick at or scratch the scabs or skin. Let the scabs fall off naturally. Picking can cause loss of pigment.

  • Once the scabs have fallen off, it will appear as though the pigment is all gone, but the hair strokes will slowly  reappear at a lighter shade as your skin heals completely within 2-3 weeks.

  • Once the tattooed area is completely healed, you may see gaps in between hair strokes. Any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your touch up session.

Healing process day by day

Day 1-2: "I love my brows!"  Your brows are fresh and sharply defined!

Day 3-4: "These are way too dark..?"  Your brows will get darker as they start scabbing, but please don't get scared! They will lighten after healed completely.

Day 5-8: "My brows are flaking and scabbing off!"  This is totally normal during the healing process. Please make sure to not pick the scabs or you may lose the pigment.

Day 9-10: "My brows have completely fallen off!"  Your brows appear as if they are completely gone during this time, please don't worry they will reappear as the skin heals completely.

Day 11-30: "My brows are coming back!"  Your brows may appear to be patchy and still incomplete during this period, but please don't worry. Most of these patches will fill in as the skin heals. If there are still some patches, they will be filled in at your touch up session.
